BuyUSA.gov offers a support system to help those wanting to either import or export. They offer world-class market research, trade events to promote products, coordinate introductions to qualified buyers, counseling through every step the needed processes.

Export.gov

From market research and trade leads from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Commercial Service to export finance, Export.gov helps American exporters navigate the international sales process and avoid pitfalls such as non-payment and intellectual property misappropriation.

Export.gov is one of the Presidential E-Government initiatives created to provide better customer service for businesses interacting with the Federal Government. The U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration manages Export.gov as a collaborative effort with the 19 Federal Agencies that offer export assistance programs and services.

US ITA

International Trade Administration (ITA) of the Department of Commerce's mission is to create prosperity by strengthening the competitiveness of U.S. industry, promoting trade and investment, and ensuring fair trade and compliance with trade laws and agreements. Trade.gov provides you access to ITA's valuable information and services regarding U.S. international trade policy.

Ex-IM Bank

The Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank) is the official export credit agency of the United States. Ex-Im Bank's mission is to assist in financing the export of U.S. goods and services to international markets. Ex-Im Bank enables U.S. companies — large and small — to turn export opportunities into real sales that helps to maintain and create U.S. jobs and contribute to a stronger national economy. 

SBA- Export Loan

The mission of SBA's Office of International Trade is to enhance the ability of small businesses to compete in the global marketplace; facilitate access to capital in order to support international trade; ensure that the interests of small business are considered and reflected in trade negotiations; and support and contribute to the U.S. Government's international agenda.

New York State

Empire State Development Corporation (ESDC)

Empire State Development Corporation (ESDC) is New York State's lead economic development agency. Our organization, with co-headquarters in Albany and New York City, is supported by a network of 18 additional ESD Offices throughout the state and around the world. The organization is comprised of highly qualified professionals who help businesses:

·         Start up a company in New York State;

·         Relocate to or establish a presence in New York State;

·         Expand already existing operations in New York State;

·         Retain and enlarge their work force in New York State;

·         Compete more effectively and profitably in the domestic and international marketplace.

They try to provide the highest level of assistance and service to businesses in order to encourage economic investment and prosperity in New York State. They work closely with businesses to: identify creative solutions to challenging problems, generate enhanced opportunities for growth, and help them achieve their uniquely important, short- and long-term goals.

Global Export Market Services

The Global Export Market Service (GEMS) helps businesses expand through increased export activity. Aimed at small and medium companies, the program can provide up to $25,000 in export marketing consultant services for individual companies and up to $50,000 for groups of companies or industry associations. Eligible participants must either be a manufacturer, service or agricultural business with 500 or fewer employees and whose New York State production content is at least 51%. Prior to approval, Empire State Development evaluates a company's needs and commitment.

Export Markets Assistance Services

The Export Marketing Assistance Service (EMAS) helps businesses find sales agents or distributors overseas.

New York City

NYC Mayor’s Office Division for International Business

This program brings together a variety of international business experts who offer quality services to foreign businesses planning to open operations in New York City. In addition, the Division provides the following services:

Outreach to international businesses and the diplomatic community in order to attract and retain foreign companies in New York City.

Distribution of a variety of publications and market resources, including an international business newsletter that is available worldwide. 

Coordination and facilitation of the varied city services in an effort to help guide your business through the range of incentives offered by government agencies and economic development organizations. 

NYC Economic Development Corporation- International Division

NYC EDC encourages businesses to start, expand or relocate in NYC by creating policies that promote economic growth and offering programs and incentives to help them achieve success.  NYC EDC is involved with a variety of projects and initiatives including real estate development, capital construction, streetscape improvements and more.  Tax incentives and other city encentives for companies locating in NYC are handled through their office.
